I can really see myself doing so many things with TouchDesigner. I enjoy the struggle, and even more, I enjoy seeing what I can create after hours of figuring things out.
At first, it was frustrating—I couldn’t connect nodes properly, couldn’t make objects move, turn them into particles, or sync anything with Ableton. But over time, I learned how to do it, and now I can work through these problems much more quickly.
I’d love to keep exploring this tool. It feels like one of the best ways to create immersive work. For this project, I made a vibrating, particle-like heartbeat and a Statue of Liberty piece, paired with piano music from Alicia Keys that I produced in Ableton.
